CentraPak,
which repackages candy for M&M Mars, is one of Turner County's largest
businesses, with over 400 employees. These employees take individually
wrapped packages of candy and repackage them into both specialized
products and holiday theme products. For example, if a national
corporation wanted a variety pack of Twix, Skittles, and Snickers for
resale, CentraPak would design a carton and repackage it with the
appropriate candy. An item that is unique to Turner County is the clear
plastic candy holder with a character for the top cork. CentraPak has the
mold that designs and produces all tops for these candy canes. So, if you
see a Santa M&M cane topper at Christmas in a store, remember that it
came from Turner County!!
